Ok so I thought id take pics as I was doing this to show everyone else how its done this is a simple way to connect multiple cfls or leds in parallel using only one plug I only recommend going as high as 150 or 200 watts as any higher and you might as well use hps. This is how the cables are connected.

Repeat the wiring for the number of pendant light that will be installed.
How do you wire 3 lights together. Wire nut the neutral white wires together. The L Line also known as live or phase is connected to the first lamp and other lamps are connected through middle wire and the last one wire as N Neutral connected to the supply voltage then. Here you can see there is a cut in the line wire connected to lamp 3 so the bulb is switch OFF and the rest circuit is working properly ie.
Two-wire cables are also used to connect the lights together. If you need to connect more fixtures you can duplicate the wiring for each new light. In these light boxes tie all wires to each of their corresponding colors.
Basically the simplest way to have multiple lights on one switch is to run a power supply wire to the switch first. In the first two boxes wire nut and pigtail the neutrals. Connect 3 wire cable in the first switch box.
The 3 wire cable enters through the top of the first switch box. Here 3-wire cable runs between L1 and L2 2-wire cable runs from the last. Figure 2 is a schematic of the wiring of 3 motion sensors to a group of lights and Figure 3 is a diagram of the actual wiring connections.
Continue the electrical wiring to each individual light fixture box. The red insulated wire connects to either one of the 2 unused terminal screws shown in the image above to be on the top left and right sides of both 3-way switches. If you have 3 motion sensors and each motion sensor is rated for a maximum of 500 watts then the total amount of wattage that you can turn on is 500 watts not 1500 watts.
Pigtail the wires together. If you are not looking for information about wiring lights in series but rather wiring a series of lights together on one circuit the way the lights are connected is a parallel arrangement and not series. If your LEDs dont light up here are a couple troubleshooting problems that you may have1 1 or more of the LEDs are facing the wrong way2 They light up but.
Here 3-wire cable is run from a double-pole circuit breaker providing an independent 120 volts to two sets of multiple outlets. The neutral wire from the circuit is shared by both sets. If the light comes first you will need to perform a switch loop.
This wiring is commonly used in a 20 amp kitchen circuit where two appliance feeds are needed such as for a refrigerator and a microwave in the same location. Wiring lights in series results in the supply or source voltage being divided up among all the connected lights with the total voltage across the entire circuit being equal to the supply. This would be a two wire cable black white ground take the black wire and connect it to one screw on the switch and connect the ground wire to a screw inside the electrical switch box mounted to the wall.
As each lamp or Bulb is connected between Line L and Neutral N separately if one of the light bulb gets faulty the rest of the circuit will work smoothly as shown in fig below. Take the original hot wire from the power source the hot wire connected to the fixture and the new hot wire. This is the existing White neutral wire coming into the box and the New white neutral wire from the 3 wire Romex youre going to use to connect the other 3-way switch you will install in a minute.
When you finish making a connection there should be three wires for each wire cap. Wirenut the neutrals and the grounding. Attach the connections with wire caps and run the pieces of wire between each recessed light.
The wiring can be installed into one central junction box. This drawing shows the wiring for multiple lights in a 4 way switch circuit with the source and fixtures coming before the switches. If you want more light in your garage you can install additional lights on an existing circuit.
After thatcut 8to10 pigtails from your wireand tie one side to lightand the other to the ones in the box. In above fig all the three light points are connected in series. Wiring 3 Switches and 2 Lights.
One black wire for the light fixture and two black wires for the pieces of Romex electrical wire that are connecting the recessed lights. In this example the power is coming into the switch to the left through a two-wire cable and is going through the three-wire cable to another switch. Get all your tools and equipment to hand you will need pliers flathead.
Leave the new wire free on one end so you can run it to the next light fixture. Then you just need to put a switch at the upstream end of the hot wire black or red so you can shut off the flow of electricity to all three lights. Wire nut all of your splices togetherand you are done.
More lights can be added to this circuit by duplicating the wiring shown here for each additional fixture. How to wire multiple lights in parallel. Each lamp is connected to the next one ie.
One option would be to take the incoming wire to the first pendant light box and then loop to the next pendant light box. Connect the switch in series. Then the white wires from each light would be connected together so that all the electricity would flow down a white wire back to the generating station.
Wirenut and pigtail the hotswirenut grounding together and pigtail a wire to bond the boxes if they are metal in the switch box wire line to bottom of switch load to top of switch. Connect the lights in parallel. It does not matter to which terminal screw this wire is connected.
This first step will eventually send power directly to the Light fixture. Twist the ends of all 3 together. As long as the combined maximum amperage rating of all the fixtures combined doesnt exceed the circuit breaker rating you can install as many fixtures as you want.
Step 5 - Wire Negative Leads. Come from panel to first light.
